Matt Golis President

Matt Golis is the Chief Executive Officer of YapStone (parent company of ParishPay). Mr. Golis is a life-long Catholic (including 12 years of Catholic school education) and is very excited to put this personal experience and mission to improve giving for the Catholic Church to work with ParishPay. He has three children, is very involved with both finance and marketing committees at St. Dominic's School and has advised on improving stewardship for St. Dominic's Church in Benicia, CA. His wife has also worked in the Diocese of Sacramento as a college counselor, grant writer and spearheaded capital campaigns and volunteers in a variety of capacities at St. Dominic's School. Matt is also an active 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus at St. Dominic's Church in Benicia, CA.

Professionally, Mr. Golis leads the many new growth opportunity segments and oversees the day-to-day operations of YapStone. Mr. Golis founded RentPayment, Inc. (electronic payments for apartments) in 1999, and merged with YapStone in early 2001. Mr. Golis is a frequent speaker at conferences regarding credit card and electronic payments and is often quoted in trade publications on ways that electronic payments can improve operations.

Karina Simon Director of Account Management and Operations

Karina Simon holds both associates and bachelors degrees in Business Management and Organizational Psychology as well as a bachelors of science in Paralegal Studies (specializing in Corporate Law). Ms. Simon has held paralegal positions at AIG, LA Business Consulting, and 21st Century Insurance in Los Angeles. She has also worked for Novoste in Atlanta during the Johnson & Johnson merger (Novoste created the first advanced medical treatment for coronary disease) as well as for Medical College of Georgia in Augusta as the Residency/Fellowship Program Coordinator and program fundraiser/organizer. Ms. Simon joined ParishPay in November 2010 as a member of the account management team where she handles all parish training and client management as well as oversees the customer service team in Utah. She is also fluent in Russian.

Sara Whitacre Solution Specialist for Major Accounts

Sara Whitacre is a recent masters graduate with a focus in communications and holds a Public Relations Certificate. Sara Whitacre has ten years experience in sales, customer service and five years experience in administrative and clerical positions of increased responsibility. Prior to joining ParishPay, she held assistant management positions at Jackson National Life Insurance, Macy's and Pinnacle Dinner Theater. At ParishPay, Sara provides customer support and account management for both parishes and parishioners.
